A Club Supporting The Community

Each year Dereham & District Round Table 175 undertakes a number of charitable events to raise funds for the local community – 100% of all monies raised stays within the community through donations to Schools, Local Charities, Community Groups and Individuals in Need.

Our Yearly Fundraising Activities

Annual Sleigh Runs

Covering most of Dereham and Surrounding Areas (Including Watton). We take Santa on his sleigh around to meet and greet with children and adults alike.

It’s a fantastic event to let everyone meet Santa, no matter what their circumstances are. For up to date sleigh information each year, follow our Facebook page here.

Annual Gin & Rum Festival

Over a bank holiday weekend (either May or August) we are one of the biggest pop-up venues in the area. Offering a night of live music, great booze and a fantastic atmosphere.

What’s better, 100% of the profits from the event through gin & rum sales goes to Charity. So you can enjoy a drink for a great cause.

Interested In Supporting Us?

We take donations throughout the year through the donate button below, alternatively if you can think of an event that we can get involved in then please let us know!

FAQs

Are you a secret handshake club?

Absolutely not, in fact half of us don’t know how to shake hands! We are an extremely welcome group of men from a variety of background and careers.

We meet every 2 weeks on the first and third Tuesday of the month. Where there is a 5th Tuesday we typically meet on the Saturday for a few pints in one of the local pubs.

If you ever see us out and about feel free to introduce yourself!

There is a membership fee which varies from year to year. This includes your national membership which gives you access to the Table World Portal, Membership Discounts and Option to join into National and Area Events. Round Table isn’t just Dereham, we have members across the globe who you can meet up with!

The only other cost is the events you attend which vary. We always try to keep a mixture of cheap/free events, mixed in with more expensive events where we can.

Yes of course! We welcome new members to up to 3 events free of charge. After your third event you’ll be asked whether you want to join table and if you feel it’s right for you.

Sometimes it’s the wrong time or financially not right at the time. We get it, don’t worry! You’re always welcome back at any time.

Pretty much anything will be considered really as long as it’s local.

The Charitable aims are to support Children, adults, Elderly, people with disabilities, Charities and voluntary bodies by making grants to individuals and organisations in the local area.

To give you an idea over the last 12 month we have; Donated to pay for a Taxi to get an elderly gentleman to his wife’s funeral, support 15 of the local pre-schools, purchased a specialist wheelchair, donated to various local charities and the local girl guides.

We like to mix up who we donate to each year so we don’t have a set list of people we support.

Unfortunately the club will only accept men aged 18 to 45.

We do have a sister organisation for ladies aged 18 to 45 called Ladies Circle which is also based in Dereham.

We also have a club for over 45s called 41 club (Don’t ask!).
